This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the App collects, why it is collected, how it is used, who it is shared with, retention practices, security measures, and how to exercise rights. The App aims to minimize data collection and exposure; use of the App constitutes acceptance of this policy.
.1 Account and authentication data: email address, display name, Firebase UID. Purpose: account creation and sign‐in. Stored in Firebase Authentication and the Firestore user document when needed. 1.2 Subscription and purchase data: subscription status, product identifiers, purchase dates, receipt metadata. Purpose: entitlement checks and access control. Stored in RevenueCat and optionally mirrored to Firestore. 1.3 Device and usage data (optional): minimal diagnostics and error logs for troubleshooting. Only collected if enabled and limited to what is necessary. 1.4 Camera and media data (with permission): photos, videos, AR captures created by the App. Default behavior: processed and stored locally. Any upload to cloud storage or Firestore requires explicit, informed consent at the time of upload. 1.5 Local data:
.1 Authenticate and manage user accounts. 2.2 Verify and enforce subscription entitlements and provide paid features. 2.3 Provide core features (AR capture, guided capture, QR generation). QR generation is local by default. 2.4 Sync minimal metadata across devices only when necessary. 2.5 Respond to support requests and troubleshoot when the user provides information or enables diagnostics. 2.6 Meet legal and regulatory obligations.
.1 Service providers used for core functionality: Firebase/Google (authentication, Firestore, optional storage), RevenueCat (subscription management), and Apple (App Store payments and receipts). 3.2 Optional analytics or crash reporting providers are used only if explicitly enabled; such use is disclosed in‐app. 3.3 The App does not sell personal data and does not share personal data for advertising without explicit opt‐in from the user. 3.4 The App owner restricts data sharing to the minimum required for service delivery and requires processors to use reasonable safeguards.
.1 Account and subscription metadata: retained while the account exists and only as long as necessary to provide the service or meet legal obligations. 4.2 Uploaded media or files: retained per user choice and any cloud storage settings; the App will obtain explicit consent before upload. 4.3 Deletion requests are processed after identity verification; some data may persist in backups or in third‐party systems for a limited time as required by those providers.
.1 Transport security: all network communications use TLS. 5.2 Access controls: Firebase security rules and least‐privilege access for server components and staff. 5.3 Storage: sensitive credentials are never stored in plaintext by the App; payment methods are handled by Apple and RevenueCat. 5.4 Minimization: collect only the data needed to provide features and to perform required functions. 5.5 Incident handling: the App owner will investigate suspected breaches and take reasonable remediation steps. No absolute guarantee of security is made.
.1 Access and export: request a copy of personal data held by the App owner. 6.2 Correction: request correction of inaccurate personal data. 6.3 Deletion: request deletion of your account and personal data; deletion requests require verification. 6.4 Opt‐out: disable optional analytics or diagnostics if the App provides such controls. 6.5 To exercise these rights: contact the App owner at the address below.
.1 The App is not directed to children below the applicable minimum age. If you believe the App has collected data from a child below the applicable minimum, contact the App owner to request deletion.
.1 Data processed by service providers may be transferred to and stored in jurisdictions outside the user’s country. The App owner requires providers to maintain appropriate safeguards.
.1 The App and its services are provided "as is" without warranties. The App owner disclaims liability to the fullest extent permitted by law for damages arising from use of the App, unauthorized access, or third‐party services. 9.2 The App owner is not responsible for third‐party practices, including those of app stores, payment processors, or external analytics providers. Users must review third‐party terms before consenting. 9.3 The App owner may restrict or terminate access if misuse, fraud, or security risks are detected.
